235 North Avenue / Jackson House

Built in 1935-36, this home represents the Tudor Revival Style of architecture. The steeply pitched mulit-gabled roof of the house rises to a peak at each gable end, and there is a round bay window with leaded diamond-pane windows on the south facade. A gabled brick entrace portal frames the round-arched main entrance. A matching garagewith a peaked gable roof stands to the rear of the house.

The home was built by Herbert and Rosalia Jackson who owned Jckson’s Department Store in downtown Hartland.
