702 E. Capitol Drive / George Crozier House

The two-story clapboard house has an irregular silhouette and features shingles in the gable end, and a one-story enclosed porch dating from teh 1940’s. The home exhibits the most fully developed pure Queen Anne elements of the several Queen Ann inspired vernacular homes in Hartland. It is believed to have been built between 1891 and 1897. From 1952 to 1965 the home was owned by Hugh Hinderacker, edit of the Hartland News.
